Dear Parent/CarerWelcome to the website for Chapel End Early Years Centre and Chapel End Infants School. As the Head of both, I am delighted to be able to tell you about both settings.
The Centre opened in January 2001 on the old school site and has been extensively refurbished. We offer day care for 2-4 year olds and part-time education nursery places alonsgside many family services. We were designated as a Children's Centre in the Autumn of 2004 - the first in Waltham Forest.
The school opened on its new premises in January 1998. We offer full-time education places for children who are nearly 5 years old through to 7.
Both the Centre and the School offer a superb environment into which we welcome both children and parent/carers.
Our staff are well qualified, experience and committed to offering the best care and education.
Our recent (November 2004) Combined Inspection Report for the Early Years Centre comments that we 'provide very good care for children' and 'provide them with sell resources, stimulated environment. The outdoor play spaces and the woodland area are extremely well laid and resourced.
Our last school inspection (November 2000) OFSTED felt that Chapel End's 'happy caring environment provides a safe and welcome place for pupils and parents who all feel value and secure'.
